Today I have walked 30 years upon this earth. And my family came up with a rather, um, eclectic assortment of gifts, including:

• A tea mug in the shape of a leopard
• A wine bottle vacuum pump thing
  
• A DVD of Kenneth Branagh's rather inventive take on Mozart's The Magic Flute
• 4 seasons of Murder She Wrote

Thanks to all. We're watching The Magic Flute right now, and I am following along with the Wikipedia entry so as to make a little sense out of the World War I reanimation. It's very clever. Papageno is great, as are the Queen's servants.

Oh, and I finally broke down and joined Facebook.
