Random notes

• Sorry 'bout that loss, FSU fans. Here's some soothing music to cheer you up.
• If you think I was a geek for pointing out the swing-state bias in President Obama's NCAA picks, you need to meet this guy.
  
• Somebody at CBS loves me - the Xavier/Wisconsin game is at 2:20 ET on Sunday, which is 7:20pm ECT (European Central Time). I wonder if they sell popcorn in France? I haven't found any yet.
  
• The UW hockey team is not fairing as well as their basketball brethren...they lost the semifinal game of the WCHA tournament, which means an NCAA bid is all but out of the question. Guess we're going to have to be content with six national championships for another year...
  
• Today we discovered what all the French parents do with their children on Saturday mornings. They take them to IKEA. It was a zoo.
